Q: Hay my band rocks and we should be on the bill. Hooks us up.

A: We get email after email asking to be on the bill.

We are looking at giving a local up and coming band a chance to join the bill so don't email or call asking. When and if we can we will post on the website saying how to apply.


Q: Can I buy beer at the Sounds of Spring?

A: Yes. You will require an "over-18" wristband to buy alcohol, which can only be obtained with photo ID, even if you are Mick Jagger and look 65 years old.


Q: Can I bring along my own food?

A: Yes you can bring your own food and softdrink/water. NO BYO ALCOHOL. All bottles must be unopened. Security guards will be checking all bags and will confiscate any opened bottles, alcohol, knives, etc. You can bring along a backpack or similar size bag, but please, not eskies, folding chairs or other bulky items.


Q: If it rains do I get my money back?

A: The event will go ahead rain, hail or shine.


Q: Is it an all ages event?

A: Yes it is, although children aged under 15 may be refused entry based on safty issues if they are not with an adult.

This will be decided on a case by case bases by secuirty at the gate.




Q: When does it finish?

A: About 10pm. Gates close at 10.30pm.


Q: What time does the first band start?

A: 11:15am. Gates open at 11:00am.


Q: Has the lineup been announced yet?

A: The full line up is out other then the Band Comp winner.


Q: Do children get in free?

A: No. Everyone must have a ticket. Although its an all ages event, its not advised to bring children aged under 12. The event is rated M15+. Children aged under 12 must be accompanied by a responsible adult (someone aged 18+).
Children ynder the age of 15 may also be refused entry if security deem it unsafe for them to enter if they do not have an adult wiht them.


Q: How much are tickets?

A: $75 plus bf pre purchased.

If there any tickets on the door they will be $100.
